Block printing: a handcrafted gesture repeated by hand
Every sarong and every scarf is created through a traditional process in which the motif is transferred onto the fabric with carved wooden blocks and manually pressed.

The process begins with the preparation of the tools and carved blocks, each designed to leave a part of the design on the fabric.

The fabric is prepared and spread out on the workbench: a simple base, ready to receive color, rhythm, and repetition.

The block is then hand-pressed, one pass after another. The continuity of the motif comes from the eye and experience of the artisan.

Finally, the fabrics are inspected, dried, and prepared. Small variations are not defects: they tell the authentic character of manual craftsmanship.
