6 mukhi Rudraksha (six faces)
This Rudraksha is called Guhasangyak (hidden knowledge) and in Hindu tradition it is linked to both Kartikeya and Ganesh (both sons of Shiva).
This Rudraksha has several properties:
- helps refine our wisdom
- increases expressive energy
- increases tenacity
- increases oratory ability
The use of the 6 mukhi Rudraksha positively stimulates the deity of abundance, Mahalakshmi. Whoever wears it will be blessed with abundance, health and happiness.
The planet that controls the 6 mukhi Rudraksha is Venus or the one who is associated with luxury, pleasure and a comfortable life.
Within the Eastern medical tradition it can be used to keep the eyes healthy, control sexual diseases, mouth diseases, urinary problems and back-related diseases. It is thought that the use of this Rudra associated with Gaurishankar (two paired Rudrakshas or the Nepali 2 mukhi Rudraksha) can promote fertility.
The 6 mukhi Rudraksha can be worn on the right arm alone or in combination with other mukhi Rudraksha.
