The process begins with the preparation of the tools and carved blocks, each designed to leave a part of the design on the fabric.

The fabric is prepared and laid out on the work surface: a simple base, ready to receive color, rhythm, and repetition.

The block is then hand-pressed, one step after another. The continuity of the motif comes from the artisan's eye and experience.

Finally, the fabrics are inspected, dried, and prepared. Small variations are not flaws: they tell the authentic character of handmade craftsmanship.

Hand coloring with natural colors requires an initial hand wash in cold water with vinegar or salt to fix the color. Afterwards, washing in the washing machine with similar colored clothes is fine.
