Batik is a decorative technique for fabrics known as a resist dyeing method. Fabrics, preferably white and made of natural animal or vegetable fibers (cotton and linen), are immersed in a dye bath after reserving (i.e., covering) the areas that should not be dyed, using wax melted in a bain-marie and then allowed to cool before dyeing.

The process can be repeated several times, reserving other areas and dyeing with progressively darker colors. For this reason, each sarong is a unique piece and may vary in color and intensity precisely due to the artisanal process.

Furthermore, this cotton sarong with tribal patterns can also be used as a sarong, which is a large piece of cotton draped around the waist and worn as a skirt by men and women in many parts of Asia.

The fabric is often dyed with bright natural colors, or patterned with various geometries and designs.

Each piece is unique and is colored and/or designed with artisanal procedures such as embroidery and hand stamps with hand-engraved stamps.

Thanks to these techniques, each fabric has small imperfections and color variations that make each piece unique and precious . The care and passion we put into the creation of each fabric is reflected in its beauty and quality , guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind artisanal product.

Hand coloring with natural colors requires an initial hand wash in cold water with vinegar or salt to fix the color. Afterwards, washing in the washing machine with similar colored clothes is fine.
