925 silver NAVRATAN pendant - NEIRA star shape. A pendant typical of the Hindu tradition which is made by hand-crafting a single piece of silver in which the stones are set. The artisans who have passed down the tradition for centuries still work with the tools historically used to make these pendants.
The faceted stones are set one by one by hand and the jewel also has a new design that depicts the NAVRATAN (or NAVRATNA) the nine (NAV) stones (RATAN) of birth.
This type of traditional jewelery has an important cultural meaning in many parts of South and South-East Asia as a symbol of wealth, status and also as a talismanic benefit for health and well-being.
