4 mukhi Rudraksha (four faces)

The Rudraksha with 4 faces is among the most common. Veins commonly used in Malas (Rosaries). The rudre below the 4 faces begin to change shape and tend to be oval.

The 4-faced Rudraksha is linked to god Brahma (one of the deities of the Hindu Trinity), responsible for creation.

Brahma is the abode of knowledge and creativity and is also known as Prajapati, Hiranyagarbha, Brahmanspati or Vishwakarma. God Brahma was born from the lotus flower of Vishnu's lake.

Children under six years of age can wear a single 4-mukhi Rudraksha or it can be used together with a 6-faced Rudraksha to improve learning and performance. A crown of 4 mukhi Rudraksha with 5 mukhi and/or 6 mukhi Rudraksha with a number of up to 550 elements, is used for CROWN THERAPY. The crown is placed on the head of the person undergoing anti-mental disorder treatment and to control stress.

In Nepal the 4 mukhi Rudraksha is boiled for 10 – 15 minutes with milk. The absorption of alcohol associated with the properties of Rudra can help cure memory loss and mental disorders.
