  • it is the symbol of the victory of knowledge over ignorance and fear,

It is usually a cylinder of fabric with three or more stripes of silk adorned with ribbons of five colors. It is used as decoration and we can find it inside temples and monasteries, suspended from the ceiling, as an ornament of the roofs on the poles used for prayers.
