Dharma Wheel - Buddhist teaching

• in Sanskrit it is called cakra, in Tibetan it is called 'khor-lo
• leads to liberation from pain
• represents the teaching of the Buddha
• the primordial essence of the mind
• the eight paths of liberation from suffering; right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right behavior, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration

In a broader sense, the Dharma Wheel symbolizes Buddhist teaching as a whole. It reminds us that the Dharma embraces all things, has neither beginning nor end: it is both moving and still.
