The stamping of the patterns, as well as the production of the wooden stamp, are entirely handmade. Furthermore, for multicoloured motifs, the printing process is done once for each colour: this means that for a 3-colour motif, the fabric is printed 3 times over its entire surface.

Block printing: a handcrafted gesture repeated by hand

Each sarong and scarf is created through a traditional process in which the pattern is transferred onto the fabric using hand-carved and manually impressed wooden blocks.

The process begins with the preparation of the tools and carved blocks, each designed to leave a part of the design on the fabric.

The fabric is prepared and laid out on the workbench: a simple base, ready to receive colour, rhythm, and repetition.

The block is then impressed by hand, one step after another. The continuity of the pattern comes from the artisan's eye and experience.

Finally, the fabrics are inspected, dried, and prepared. Small variations are not defects: they tell the authentic character of manual craftsmanship.

Each piece is unique and is colored and/or designed with artisanal procedures such as embroidery and hand stamps with hand-engraved stamps.

Thanks to these techniques, each fabric has small imperfections and color variations that make each piece unique and precious . The care and passion we put into the creation of each fabric is reflected in its beauty and quality , guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind artisanal product.

Hand coloring with natural colors requires an initial hand wash in cold water with vinegar or salt to fix the color. Afterwards, washing in the washing machine with similar colored clothes is fine.
