  • Chakras - what are they?

According to Eastern doctrines, man is a whole: every event affecting one part of him, the body, for example, impacts every other element of his being.

This happens because there is something that comes 'before' the body, tissues, neurons, emotions, thought: something that is their cause, something that then modulates to create the different parts of the person, organs, feelings, and so on.

Like water flowing from a spring, energy is something that precedes the great river downstream, composed of body, mind, spirit: the element that permeates every single atom of our being and regulates its functioning.

For this reason, when something changes within us, our entire person experiences the effects: by working on energy with balanced techniques, it is possible to restore harmony directly to the causes of these imbalances, receiving benefits in all parts of our being.

The 7 chakras are located at the conjunction points of three main communication pathways: Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna, the main acupuncture channels. Two of these channels spiral from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, while the third runs in a straight line. A chakra is located at each of the seven points where these channels intersect.
