Budai (Chinese: 布袋; pinyin: Bùdài; Japanese: 布袋, romanized: Hotei) is a semi-historical Chinese monk, revered as Buddha Maitreya in Chan Buddhism. He was also introduced into the Japanese Buddhist pantheon. It is said that he lived around the 10th century in the kingdom of Wuyue. His name literally means cloth bag and refers to the bag he is conventionally depicted carrying while wandering aimlessly. His cheerful nature, humorous personality, and eccentric lifestyle distinguish him from most Buddhist masters or figures. He is almost always shown smiling or laughing, hence his Chinese nickname, the Laughing Buddha. Since he is traditionally depicted as fat, he is also called the fat Buddha, especially in the Western world.
Mughal painting is a particular style of South Asian painting, particularly from Northern India (more precisely, modern-day India and Pakistan), limited to miniatures preserved both as book illustrations and as individual works in albums (muraqqa). It evolved from Persian painting in miniature form (which was itself partly of Chinese origin) and developed at the court of the Mughal Empire from the 16th to the 18th century. The Mughal emperors were Muslims, and they are credited with consolidating Islam in South Asia and spreading Muslim art, culture, and faith (and especially Persian ones).

For shipments to non-EU countries, any customs duties, import taxes (incl. local VAT), customs clearance fees and any other charges required by the authorities of the destination country are exclusively the responsibility of the Customer. Furthermore, in the rare event that the shipment rejected or in return should get lost during the return transport or in the management phases following the refusal, no refund will be possible, since the goods will not be returned to the sender.
